Ordos' intelligent manufacturing project for large wind power blades will carry out its trial production at the beginning of June.
At the construction site, a huge bar-shaped workshop has been built up, and workers are finishing up the final details. The inside of the workshop is also busy: two sets of molds for manufacturing 112-meter blades are being installed and debugged.
Operated by the Mengxi Large Blade Intelligent Manufacturing Base of Zhuzhou Times New Material Technology Co, the project is equipped with six intelligent production lines that can manufacture blades up to 120 meters. It is expected to produce 360 sets of blades – each with a capacity of 5 megawatts and above –annually at full capacity.
The project will help Ordos develop a nationally competitive wind power equipment manufacturing industry.
