A new energy equipment manufacturing base was launched in Dalu Industrial Park of the Juungar Economic Development Zone, Juungar Banner in Ordos city, on May 22.
With multiple fields involved, including new energy vehicle production and component manufacturing, the base is expected to achieve an investment of 3 billion yuan ($414 million) as well as annual production and sales of 7,000 new energy heavy trucks and 5,000 new energy mining trucks.
At the launch ceremony, the People's Government of Juungar Banner signed agreements with nine enterprises, including Inner Mongolia Transportation Group Co, Beiben Trucks Group Co, Inner Mongolia Tiechen Intelligent Equipment Co, Guangxi Yuchai Machinery Co, and Suzhou Horwing New Energy Vehicle Technology Co.
Upon completion of the base, a large-scale new energy equipment manufacturing industry cluster featuring advanced technologies and a complete industrial chain will be formed in Juungar Banner.
