China Brand Day 2024 kicked off in Shanghai on May 10. The city of Ordos in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region is one of seven independent exhibiting prefecture-level cities in the nation and the only one from Inner Mongolia.

In the new "City of Excellence" exhibition area, introduced this year, Ordos has set up a pavilion to showcase the city's specialty products. The design of the pavilion is inspired by the Yellow River's "几"-Shaped Bend. It is divided into five main areas – Nuan Ye, Nuan Xin, Nuan Se, Nuan Xin and Nuan Wei, respectively exhibiting items related to the city's industries, urban life, environment, innovation and food to showcase the fruitful results of its industrial transformation and economic development led by brand building in recent years.

In addition, the pavilion fully reflects the character and culture of Ordos through its spatial layout and decoration.

The "Nuan Ye" area showcases the development foundations of Ordos and is one of the reasons why Ordos is called the "Nuan City". Ordos is currently working to build four world-class industries, namely energy, modern coal chemicals, new energy and equipment manufacturing, and cashmere.

On the large screen in the "Nuan Se" area, the captivating natural scenery of Ordos enchants viewers. The expansive sand table exhibits the planning blueprints and development visions of Ordos' eight major economic development zones, while the distinctive cultural and creative products of Ordos are as eye-catching as ever.

The "Nuan Xin" area focuses on the path of innovation Ordos has embarked on. In Ordos, emerging industries are continuously developing, with a closed-loop lithium battery production chain for new energy having formed. The daily production capacity of related enterprises can reach as high as 30,000 battery cells.

At the same time, Ordos insists on giving top priority to innovation-driven development, introducing a series of policies such as Talent New Policy 2.0 and 30 New Policies for Science and Technology, and cooperating with top universities such as Tsinghua University, Peking University, and South University of Science and Technology to establish a batch of high-energy innovation platforms.

The "Nuan Wei" area showcases the city's culinary culture and local specialty products. The agricultural and livestock products here are all pure, natural, and delicious, providing visitors with a delightful culinary experience.

Moreover, during the event, a series of activities, including the promotion of the "Nuancheng Duowei" brand and the release of Ordos liquor brands, cultural performances and distinctive check-ins, will be launched to promote Ordos' image and improve Inner Mongolia's reputation.
