Ordos has taken a significant step in advancing its agricultural sector by signing a pivotal project worth 180 million yuan ($26.87 million) during the Beijing-Inner Mongolia Cooperation 30th Anniversary Exhibition, held in Beijing from Sept 19 to 20.

The agreement was formalized between the Otog Front Banner government and Shenzhen Chunmuyuan Technology Agricultural Development Co for the Shanghaimiao Chunmuyuan Facility Agriculture Project. 

This initiative is set to enhance modern agricultural practices in Ordos, symbolizing a shift in the Beijing-Inner Mongolia partnership from traditional support to industrial collaboration.

In addition to the project signing, Ordos showcased its agricultural prowess by presenting over 70 specialty products at the exhibition. The diverse array included meat, dairy, fruits, vegetables, and beverages, with standout offerings such as Albas goat meat, sea buckthorn juice, cherry tomatoes, and beef jerky milk tea capturing the attention of Beijing residents.

Ordos officials emphasized their commitment to leveraging this platform to expedite the introduction of high-quality agricultural and livestock products into the Beijing market. 

The initiative aims to achieve significant progress in brand promotion, production-marketing alignment, and technological cooperation, further cementing Ordos' presence in the region.
