Ordos has secured the top spot among Inner Mongolia autonomous region's cities with 24 companies included on the 2026 Top 100 Private Enterprises list, highlighting the scale of the city's private sector.

Ordos' listed companies span key industries such as coal, new energy, new materials, and modern coal chemical sectors. This reflects a strategic shift from developing traditional energy to fostering new energy equipment and materials sectors, marking significant industrial optimization. These enterprises are pivotal in Ordos' ambition to establish world-class industrial clusters.

The city's leading companies, including Huineng Holding Group, Yitai Group, Erdos Investment Holding Co, and Mengtai Group, prominently feature at the top of the list, each with revenues exceeding 40 billion yuan ($5.96 billion).

Additionally, several Ordos-based private enterprises have been recognized in the 2026 Inner Mongolia Top 50 Private Manufacturing Enterprises, Top 20 Private Service Enterprises, and Top 30 Private Technology Innovation Enterprises lists.

Looking ahead, Ordos will remain committed to enhancing its business environment and supporting technological innovation and transformation among private enterprises. The city aims to guide private enterprises to play a more significant role in the construction of four world-class industries.
