Ordos has announced the requirements for meeting the minimum payment years for medical insurance upon retirement, ensuring retirees can enjoy uninterrupted medical benefits. The specific provisions are as follows:

1. Individuals who have flexible employment records with employee medical insurance payments in Ordos on or before Dec 31, 2015, must have a cumulative payment period of at least 15 years.

2. Individuals who joined the employee basic medical insurance on or before Dec 31, 2015, need to have a cumulative payment period of at least 20 years.

3. For those who joined the employee basic medical insurance after Jan 1, 2016, a cumulative payment period of at least 25 years is required.

Once these individuals reach the statutory retirement age or meet other legal retirement conditions, they will no longer be required to pay employee basic medical insurance fees and will be entitled to retired employee basic medical insurance benefits.
