Ordos has launched its 2026 third-quarter home purchase subsidy program, allocating 15 million yuan ($2.24 million) in subsidy funds to boost the housing market and invigorate consumer activity by offering special subsidies for automobiles, home appliances, and digital products.
Eligible participants include individual buyers aged 18 and over who complete new home online registration between Sept 1 and 30, 2026. Corporations and legal entities are not eligible for the subsidy. Each housing unit is eligible for only one subsidy, and in cases of joint purchases, only one adult buyer can apply. The subsidy cannot be claimed multiple times or split.
The program offers a "choose one" option with 1,500 total slots available, and benefits cannot be combined. Homebuyers purchasing vehicles worth 50,000 yuan or more can apply for a 10,000 yuan automobile subsidy. Alternatively, they can opt for a home appliance and digital products voucher package worth up to 10,000 yuan. These vouchers, which include several discount coupons, are valid for 30 days from receipt and must be used by the registered individual.
Applications are processed online; in-person submissions are not accepted. From 6:00 pm on Sept 6 to 11:59 pm on Sept 30, citizens can log into the "Yunyou Ordos" WeChat mini-program to submit their applications through a dedicated portal. The system may adjust deadlines based on application volume, with a maximum five-day grace period for late submissions.
The subsidy process includes online application, document submission, qualification review, public announcement of recipients, and subsidy disbursement. Relevant authorities will complete document reviews and announce results in batches within one to five working days.
